This event has brought together more than 300 people, national and international experts in demography, economics, science, technological innovation, entrepreneurship and culture, who, through a system of round tables, have talked about the latest trends that are taking place in the field of the Senior Economy, highlighting the importance and the role that older people play in all blocks of the economy.

In this sense, Axión, through our Development and Innovation Manager, Cristina Peñas, highlighted the importance of technology in this area, at the table “Smart and Friendly Cities with the Elderly. A model of economic development”.

The event also featured the intervention of Reyes Maroto, acting Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and, with the participation of representatives of the main political forces, who discussed about “demography and future of the Welfare model. Perspectives from Parliament”
