On June 14, the 16th edition of The Night of Telecommunications and Information Society took place in Seville; A meeting organised by the Official Association of Telecommunications Engineers of Western Andalusia and Ceuta.
Axión, with headquarters in Seville, has been one of the meeting’s prominent promoters in creating the backbone of the digital transformation. The important role of technology companies and telecommunication engineers and the ICT sector for development in the sector was also highlighted.
The Night of Telecommunications is consolidated as a regional and national reference space in which to build alliances and share progress and ideas in the applications of these digitalisation processes.
During the Night, the Andalusian Telecommunications Awards were awarded, which aim to reward excellence and innovation, as well as the career of a professional in the sector. In its first year, the Solidarity Action Prize went to the Esperanza de Triana Children’s Support Center.
